The Opportunity
In a service based business like dog training, trust and clarity are everything. K9 Endeavors offers results driven training focused on discipline, behavior, and long term success, but the existing website did not fully communicate that value. Users were not immediately guided to understand the trainer’s expertise, the process, or how to get started, which created friction in the decision making process. The opportunity was to redesign the homepage in a way that builds instant credibility, clearly communicates the service, and guides potential clients toward taking action. This meant creating a more structured experience that highlights trust, showcases results, and positions K9 Endeavors as a professional, high quality training service.

Project Goals
My Approach
To redesign the K9 Endeavors homepage, I started by identifying key friction points in the existing experience, specifically unclear messaging, weak visual hierarchy, and a lack of direction for users. Since this is a service based business built on trust, the focus was on improving clarity, credibility, and flow.
I began with low fidelity wireframes to explore different layout structures and how information should be prioritized. From there, I moved into higher fidelity designs in Squarespace, refining the visual direction while keeping the user journey simple and intentional. Each decision was centered around helping users quickly understand the service, build confidence in the trainer, and take the next step without confusion.
Conclusion
The final redesign delivers a more structured and conversion focused homepage that better represents the quality of K9 Endeavors’ training services. By improving hierarchy, messaging, and overall flow, the experience now guides users more effectively from first impression to action.
This project reinforced the importance of clarity and trust in service based design. Even small improvements in structure and messaging can significantly impact how users perceive credibility and make decisions. Moving forward, this approach can be expanded with additional pages, testimonials, and real client results to further strengthen the overall experience.
